Abigail Penichet is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of clinical experience serving the Tampa Bay and Polk County areas. Known for her compassionate and thoughtful approach, Abby is committed to helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.
She treats adults facing a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, and mood disorders. Drawing from her experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Abby takes a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to care offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and personalized treatment planning that supports long-term wellness. Abby accepts patients in Welsey Chapel and Lakeland Florida.
Abby earned her Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University and continues to stay current with the latest clinical research and best practices. She believes in treating the whole person, creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can make meaningful progress toward mental clarity and emotional balance.
Outside of her work, Abby enjoys exploring nature, hiking, spending quality time with family and friends, and caring for her beloved backyard chickens.
