Amy Leon, MS

Amy Leon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Barry University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration. She went on to attend Nova Southeastern University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with highest honors, with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Amy begins the doctoral program in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University in 2024. Amy is an active member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

As a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Amy is dedicated to helping individuals and couples, to overcome their challenges and live happier, healthier lives. She practices from a relational systems lens utilizing a Solution Focused outlook on strengths while helping to create new life narratives.

Amy’s area of specialization is women’s mental health. Major life changes such as the end of a relationship, loss of a child, divorce, loss of job, depression, stress, and anxiety. Providing a supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

She believes that healthy relationships are the foundation for a happy and fulfilling life and is passionate about helping clients build and maintain strong connections. Committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to each of her clients, Amy is honored to be a part of their journey toward healing and growth.

Amy has extended training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Grief and Loss. She is certified in Collaborative Divorce and is currently working through the Gottman training.
